Description

147-149 High Street in Falkirk, known as Learmonth's Buildings, was designed by William Stirling III of William Stirling and Son in 1862. This late classical building features three stories and has six windows facing Cow Wynd and three windows facing High Street, with a one-window splayed angle. The openings are framed with architraves and have cornices and pediments on the first floor. The building has a parapet and a slated roof, while the ground floor has been modernized for office use.
