11 Seaview Place, Bo'Ness

11 Seaview Place in Bo'Ness is a block of flats built between 1936 and 1937 by Matthew Steele and John Taylor, with alterations made by John Taylor in 1938. This 2- and 3-storey building features 14 bays arranged in a 3-8-3 grouping, showcasing elements of the Modern Movement with Art Deco influences. The exterior is made of buff concrete blockwork, accented by contrasting green banding beneath the ground floor cills and at the eaves.

The northwest, or principal elevation, is symmetrical, featuring 3-storey, 3-bay piended pavilions at the outer bays. Each pavilion has a door below three projecting horizontal strips that lead to a full-height vertical stair window, although the left window is partially blocked. The outer bays have regular fenestration, while the lower central bays are also regularly-fenestrated, except for the three left bays at ground level which include an in-canted centre door for a shop, and bay 9 which has a single door at ground level with a small vertical window above.

On the northeast elevation, known as Providence Brae, there is a bowed bay to the right with a blocked opening at ground level, similar in detailing to the principal elevation, and two openings to the left at ground level, each with a single window on the floors above.

The southwest elevation is blank and features a low flat-roofed building adjoining at ground level. The southeast, or rear elevation, has been altered and includes a variety of elements such as gabled outshots.

The building has uPVC windows, although the horizontal glazing pattern is retained at the stair window. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there are concrete block stacks with some cans.

Inside, No. 5-7 Corvi's Restaurant contains a traditional fish and chip range and a small fireplace.
