Description
Polnoon Lodge, located on Gilmour Street in Eaglesham, is an original house that was probably built in 1733, with the present structure dating from the later 18th century. It features a two-storey, three-window central section, which has a consoled and pedimented arched doorpiece with a fanlight above. There are single-storey, two-window wings on either side. The building has slated piended roofs and is harled with back-fillets. It is said to have originally served as a hunting lodge.
