Description

West House, located on South Street in Elie, is a late 18th century building that has been considerably altered. It is a three-storey structure with four windows and features harled exterior walls. The entrance has a consoled doorpiece, and there is a central wallhead gable that includes a dummy window and a chimney. The first floor has a prominent heavy rectangular bay in the center, which is flanked by Georgian-style oriel bow windows. At the rear, there is a parallel-roofed back wing that is slated.
