Description
Keith Bridge Cottage is a single-storey and attic cottage dating to around 1840, with a single-storey porch and modern additions to the sides. It is constructed of red rubble sandstone with ashlar dressings and stugged quoins.
The south-facing elevation has three bays. A central door is topped with a strip fanlight, and windows are located in the outer bays. Small gabled dormer windows break the eaves in the outer bays.
The west-facing elevation features a single-storey gabled porch to the left, a ground-floor window to the right, and an attic window centrally placed. A modern addition is attached to the east gable elevation. The rear elevation is blank. The windows are sash and case with a 12-pane glazing pattern. Ashlar coped skews with scrolled skewputts are present on the porch, and the roof is covered with red tiles. There is a skylight to the rear, and end stacks are visible.
A cluster of 18th-century outbuildings, possibly former cottages, stands to the west of the main cottage. These outbuildings are constructed of rubble sandstone with a red pantiled roof. The openings have been altered, and there are end and ridge stacks. Keith Bridge itself is listed separately.
