Description
A cottage, dating to around 1840, with associated outbuildings. The cottage is a single-storey structure with an attic, accompanied by a single-storey porch and modern extensions to the sides. It is constructed from red rubble sandstone with ashlar dressings and stugged quoins.
The east elevation features three bays, with a central door framed by a strip fanlight, and windows in the outer bays. Small gabled dormer windows break the eaves in the outer bays.
The west elevation has a single-storey gabled porch to the left, a window at ground level to the right, and an attic window centrally placed. A modern addition is present on the east gable elevation, while the rear elevation is blank. The windows are sash and case with a 12-pane glazing pattern. Ashlar coped skews with scrolled skewputts adorn the porch, and the roof is covered in red tiles. A skylight is located at the rear, with end stacks present.
To the west of the cottage is a row of 18th-century outbuildings, which may have originally been cottages. These are built of rubble sandstone and have a red pantiled roof. The openings have been altered, with an end stack to the west and a ridge stack.
Keith Bridge is listed separately.
