Description

The Maltings on Shore Street in Dunbar is a late 18th century, four-storey warehouse built in an L-plan. It features sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings and copings.

The north entrance range has eight bays, with altered openings at ground level, including an arched pend in the fourth bay. The window openings above are uniform, with the smallest located at the third floor under the eaves, which is now blind. The east side has a gable stack and is abutted by an adjoining property.

The west range facing Lamer Street has severely weathered masonry and no openings. The building is topped with a slate roof.
