Description
1 Old Harbour in Dunbar is a pair of mid 18th century, two-storey, three-bay houses that form part of a terrace. The buildings are rendered and incised to resemble ashlar, topped with slate roofs. The northern gable features crowsteps. The sash windows have plain margins and a 12-pane glazing pattern. Each house has timber gable canopies over the doors, which are complemented by plain fanlights below.
House No. 1 has an asymmetrical eastern front with the door located in the southern bay. It includes flat-roofed dormer additions and a half-gable, two-storey addition at the rear, which is adjacent to a warehouse and has plain coping.
House No. 3 has a symmetrical eastern front with a central door.
