Description
Whittingehame Bridge is a bridge likely built in the early 19th century, constructed from coursed red sandstone with stugged and droved stone. It spans banks of varying heights and features a parapet. The bridge has a voussoired semi-circular arch to the north that crosses Whittingehame Water, and to the south, there is a small dry overflow arch. Each arch is flanked by raised panels that include semi-circular niches and impost bands. The parapet is made of coursed stone and is interrupted at regular intervals by short dies.
