Description

7, 8, and 9 Market Street in Haddington is a classical town house built around 1760. It is three stories tall and constructed of ashlar stone with raised quoins. The roof is slated, and the building features a symmetrical, pedimented five-window frontage. The ground floor has a tetrastyle Ionic pilaster order and is heavily rusticated, with a central arched entrance. The openings on the ground floor have been otherwise enlarged.
