Standingstone

Late 18th century 2-storey, 3-bay farmhouse with earlier 19th century wing and later single storey service buildings in re-entrant

angle. Rubble with harl pointing, stained pink on N elevation; red ashlar dressings to original house, droved and painted at ground. W elevation: bays grouped towards centre; corniced and architraved doorway at centre; decorative fanlight and panelled door; corniced canted windows in flanking bays, 19th century; original windows to each 1st floor bay. N return elevation with window at each floor, to left; S return blank, with ground floor window and lean-to conservatory added.

E elevation: piend-roofed jamb to right, with piend-roofed single storey building set in re-entrant angle; irregular openings; rounded arrises to back doorway in 2-storey wing. Further, lower outbuilding adjoined to SE. N return elevation of later 2-storey jamb 2 bays

deep, with windows to each floor. 4-pane and 12-pane glazing patterns to sash and case windows. Grey slates. Ashlar coped skews; corniced stacks. Decorative cans retained. Retaining walls: semi-circular coping to rubble walls; domed stone caps to square, ashlar gatepiers.
