Description
West Blance Farmhouse is a farmhouse from the mid to later 18th century, featuring two storeys and harled exterior walls.
On the garden elevation, the facade consists of four bays arranged in pairs that move away from the center. There is a set-off wallhead stack above the center, with a doorway located to the right of the center and a small window to the left. The outer bays have narrow windows, with additional windows on the first floor. The end elevations are blank, displaying a steeply pitched gable on one end, which suggests the line of a former adjoining building.
The elevation facing the steading has four evenly spaced bays, with an off-centre doorway to the right and windows in the remaining bays. The sash and case windows exhibit a variety of glazing patterns. The roof is covered with pantiles, and the gables are steeply pitched, featuring end stacks.
