Description

Later 19th century, raised from single storey cottages,

  1. 2-storey mirrored pair of L-plan cottage rows,

forming open, shallow U-plan, with 1st floor windows

breaking eaves in gablet dormerheads to S. Squared and

snecked rubble; ashlar dressings.

S ELEVATIONS: each block with advanced gabled outer bay

with window at centre and apex stack. 9 recessed bays,

3 x 3-bay cottages with doorways in 2nd, 5th and 9th

bays and windows in remaining bays. 3 1st floor windows

above.

N ELEVATIONS: plain with some alterations.

Modern windows inserted. Ashlar coped skews. Squat

ashlar stacks. Slate roofs with modern skylights.
