No. 11 And No. 12, West Fenton Cottages

No. 1 and No. 2, West Fenton Cottages are two pairs of single-storey farm cottages built in the later 19th century. They feature a symmetrical design with gabled roofs. The cottages are constructed from squared and snecked rubble, accented with droved ashlar dressings and chamfered arrises around the openings.

On the south elevations, there are five bays, with bipartite windows in the center and outer bays. The second and fourth bays have gabled porches supported by timber columns, decorative brackets, and barge boarding. Timber railings are also present.

The north elevations show a rear gabled bay that projects at the center, flanked by recessed door and window bays. The doors are modern with small panes and fanlights, while the sash and case windows have plate glass glazing, with 4-pane windows in the single lights of No. 12. The cottages have timber eaves brackets supporting the overhanging eaves, and the roofs are covered with slate, featuring chamfered arrises and coping on the small stacks.

Additionally, there are rubble-coped retaining walls made of rubble on the south, east, and west sides.
