No. 3 And No. 4, West Fenton Cottages

No. 6, West Fenton Cottages is a building from the later 19th century, originally raised from single-storey cottages dating back to 1844. It consists of a two-storey mirrored pair of L-plan cottage rows, forming an open, shallow U-plan. The first-floor windows break the eaves in gablet dormerheads on the south side. The structure is made of squared and snecked rubble with ashlar dressings.

On the southeast elevations, each block features an advanced gabled outer bay with a window at the center and an apex stack. There are nine recessed bays, comprising three sets of three-bay cottages, with doorways located in the second, fifth, and ninth bays, and windows in the remaining bays. Three first-floor windows are positioned above.

The northeast elevations are plain and show some alterations, including modern windows that have been inserted. The building has ashlar coped skews and squat ashlar stacks. The roofs are slate, with modern skylights added.
