Description

Tyninghame Bridge, built in 1931 by Blyth and Blyth, is a low bridge featuring a segmentally arched main span with semi-circular overflow arches on either side. The bridge is constructed from pink sandstone, which is squared and snecked for the main structure. The main span has stugged voussoirs and a hoodmould. Below the parapet, there is a corbelled string course with chamfered coping. Additionally, buttresses are positioned between the main and side arches.
