Description

Dam Bridge, built around 1840, is a single-arched bridge over the River Tyne, located near Tyninghame Sawmill. It is constructed from stugged red rubble and features rounded coping on the parapet, along with mushroom-shaped piers. The arch has a voussoired recessed surround with a hoodmould. The path of the parapets is nipped in above the arch.
