Description

Later 19th century. Symmetrical 2-storey, 3-bay dwelling house; small outbuilding attached to N elevation. Squared and snecked rubble; painted main (W) elevation. Steps to entrance door; base course; hoodmoulds to ground floor windows; raised margins; lugged architraves to all windows.

W (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: central entrance porch with chamfered corners; shaped entrance; broad entablature and cornice. Single windows flanking main door; central bipartite with stone transom at 1st floor; single windows flanking.

N ELEVATION: small gothic arched window in gablehead; small outbuilding at ground.

E (REAR) ELEVATION: not seen 2001.

S ELEVATION: small gothic arched windows in gablehead.

10-pane timber sash and case windows: original to ground; replacement at 1st floor. Slate roof; coped stacks at gableheads with cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 2001.

BOUNDARY WALL: coursed ashlar sandstone wall with moulded copes.
