Description
Lochnorris, located at 47 Auchinleck Road in Cumnock, is a 2-storey, asymmetrical house built in 1891. Notably, Keir Hardie lived here. The exterior features red sandstone that is snecked and stugged, with polished dressings showcasing long and short work. On the left side, there is an advanced bay that includes a tripartite window at the ground level and a bipartite window above. The entrance door has simple margins, and there is one window set in recessed bays. All gables are crowstepped, and the house is topped with a slate roof.
