Description
This is a circa 1810 semi-detached rubble villa, originally two separate houses, 4 and 6 Roseangle. The house is two storeys and a basement, with the ground floor falling away to the rear. The north-east elevation features two entrance porches; the porch to No. 4 has a piended roof, while the ground-floor porch to No. 6 is distinguished by an elaborate, circa 1900 Art Nouveau wrought-iron brattishing. Sash windows with a variety of glazing patterns are set within margins. The south-west elevation presents a simpler three-storey, four-bay facade. The roof is slate, with stacks at the roof and gable ends, and skewputts. Original wrought-iron railings are present along the street, within the garden, and along the former sea wall to the south.
