Description
19 Forfar Road in Dundee is a symmetrical, two-storey terrace built between 1871 and 1872, consisting of four houses arranged in eight bays. The structure is made of rubble with painted ashlar dressings.
The front elevation features twin doorpieces with consoles and a dentil cornice, flanked by triple-light windows that have clustered cast-iron mullions, modillion cornices, and pentice roofs. On the first floor, there are segmental-arched single and bipartite lights set on a continuous cill course, with the bipartite windows corbelled out. The rear of the building is plain, with stair windows and various later extensions. The roof is slate, with a piended design at No 13, and there are corniced stacks. The windows are sash and case with a two-pane glazing pattern.
Modern railings are present at the property.
