Description

This is an earlier or mid-19th century roadbridge spanning Castlefairn Water, situated on the Glenwhisk-Blackstone Road. It is a single segmental arch bridge constructed of rubble stone with ashlar coping along the tops of the ramped parapets. The parapets curve outwards towards the bridge approaches.
