41-43 Castle Street is an early 19th-century terraced house that includes a later shop. The building has two storeys and an attic, featuring two bays. It is pebble dashed with painted margins. The shopfront for No 41 is pilastered and includes a door, frieze, and cornice. There is a pend to the right that is shared with No 43. The first floor has two windows, and there is a modern dormer. The roof is slate.
