Description

39 Castle Street is a terraced house dating from 1806, as noted on the rainwater head. The building is two stories high and has three bays, featuring a later shop front. It is pebble dashed with painted margins. The ground floor has a pilastered shop front, complete with a frieze and cornice. On the first floor, there are three 4-pane sash windows. The roof is covered with slate, and the chimney stacks have been removed.
