Description

48 Castle Street in Kirkcudbright is an early 19th-century terraced house that includes a later shop. The building has two storeys and a dormerless attic, featuring three bays. It is finished with lined render and has rendered margins. On the right side, there is a door and one window, while the left side has a pilastered shopfront. The first floor contains three windows, all of which are 4-pane sashes. The building is topped with a slate roof and has a cast-iron moulded gutter.
