Description

Park House is a 17th-century, two-storey detached house with an attic and basement, featuring three bays. It has a later single-storey and basement, castellated addition on the northeast side. The exterior is constructed of whitewashed rubble with painted surrounds.

On the northwest (entrance) elevation, there is an advanced gabled porch to the left of the original house. A timber and glass door is located at the re-entrant angle to the left, with another doorway that has been converted into a large multi-paned window, along with a small window at the basement to the right. The later addition has a single window at the basement level and a bipartite window at the ground floor. The gabled entrance porch features a large stair window, with a single window aligned above it on the first floor. To the right of the porch is another single window, with a small window below. There are three windows at the basement level, and additional windows at the ground and first floors in the outer right bay.

The southeast (rear) elevation has two central multi-paned openings at the ground and first floors of the original house, flanked by single windows. There are bipartite dormers on the outer left and right, and two single lights at the basement level. A timber door is located to the left of the later addition, with two single windows to the right at the basement level and a tripartite window at the first floor.

The southwest (side) elevation is a single bay with a single timber door at the centre leading to the basement.

The northeast (side) elevation features a two-bay later addition. There is a single window at the basement in the recessed bay on the outer left, and another single window at the basement in the right bay, along with a tripartite window at the ground floor.

The windows include modern glazing, plate glass, and timber sash and case windows with 6-, 9-, and 12-pane configurations, as well as fixed-pane glazing and rooflights. The roof is covered with grey slate, featuring stone skews, corniced gablehead stacks, and circular cans.

The interior was not seen in 1997.
