Description
This building, located at 24-26 Fleet Street in Gatehouse of Fleet, dates from around 1800 and consists of a pair of two-storey terraced houses that are of unequal size and have two bays. The exterior features squared granite rubble walling with dressed openings.
Each house has a paired central doorway, both of which include an astragalled fanlight and modern panelled doors, with No 24 styled in the Gatehouse manner. The doorways are flanked by windows, and there are three windows on the first floor. All windows are single light sash and case with a 12-pane glazing pattern. The roofs are covered with graded slate, featuring sandstone ridges and flat skews, along with coped end stacks.
