Description

Anwoth is a house dating from the late 18th to early 19th century, built as part of a terrace at 15 Shore Street, Drummore. It is a two-storey, three-bay structure built of painted rubble, with painted raised margins emphasizing the joints. The main, north-facing elevation features a central doorway and regularly spaced windows. The east-facing elevation adjoins the property at No 13 Shore Street (listed separately), and the west-facing elevation adjoins the property at No 17 Shore Street (also listed separately). The windows are sash and case style with plate glass glazing. The roof incorporates coped mutual skews to the northeast and northwest, with broad, painted rubble stacks positioned jointly to the east and west. The roof is covered with small, purple-grey slates.
