Description
Bridge Cottage is an early 19th-century single-story, three-bay cottage, originally adjoined to a former two-bay cottage and now united as one dwelling, with later alterations. The construction is of painted rubble, with painted ashlar margins. The three-bay cottage to the right has a central door flanked by windows. The two-bay cottage to the left has lower eaves and a window in each bay, with a later door on its left return. The windows are large, with sash and case windows that have top-hopper openings. The roof is covered in grey slates, and there are small rooflights. The cottage has end and mutual gable stacks. A lean-to timber porch has been added to the right. The building is sited close to the road.
