Description

17 High Street in Kirkcudbright is an early 19th century terraced house. It is two stories high and has four bays. The building is constructed of rubble with painted margins and quoins. There is a pend on the right side with a blind panel above it, and the door is located in the right center bay. The house features 12-pane sash windows throughout. It has an eaves cornice, straight skews with simple moulded skewputts, and brick stacks at the ends. The roof is covered with slate. At the rear, there is a later 19th century single-storey extension.
