Description

The Ice-House at Kirkdale House was originally built around 1787. It was moved to a new location and re-erected in 1970. This small underground structure has a dome-shaped roof resembling an igloo, with splayed walls at the entrance. The interior features brick with concrete render, and the chamber is approximately 3 meters deep.
