Description

The Stroan Viaduct is a mid-19th century structure, likely dating from around 1845 to 1850. It consists of four segmental granite arches that span the Hensol burn at the mouth of Loch Stroan. The viaduct is constructed entirely of bull-faced, broached granite blocks, with bull-nosed granite cutwaters. The total span is approximately 250 feet.
