Description

The ruins of Corra Castle represent a late 16th-century tower house, originally built by Sir John Maxwell. The castle was constructed using rough rubble walling. The north gable and part of the southwest angle remain, now integrated into more recent farm buildings. Additional reference information is recorded as Inv 275.
