Description
Ravenstone School is an earlier 19th-century school building of a T-plan layout. The walls are of modern roughcast, with polished raised red sandstone margins. A porch is situated at the re-entrant angle, featuring a catslide roof and a door with a fanlight. An original door on the west side has been blocked, flanked by windows. A flat-roofed extension has been added to the rear. The windows are single-light, sash and case, with 14-pane lying pane glazing. The roof is of graded slate, with sandstone ridges and coped end stacks topped with octagonal cans. Rubble walls surround the school.
