Description
24-28 High Street in Gatehouse of Fleet is an early 19th century, two-storey terraced house. The building features a door and four shop windows on the ground floor. Its walls are smooth rendered and painted, designed to resemble ashlar stone, with a raised base course. The ground floor has 20th century enlarged windows in the outer bays, and pilasters that support a cornice above the three inner bays, which includes a central door with a fanlight. On the first floor, there are three sash and case windows with a four-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with slate.
