Description
This early 19th-century house on Laigh Row in Port Logan is two stories high and features a five-bay design, with the first floor breaking the eaves. Originally, it was a pair of two- and three-bay houses. The exterior is made of painted rubble with a painted base course and projecting cills.
On the north elevation facing Laigh Row, there is a boarded door located in the bay to the right of the center. Windows are present on both floors in the center and outer bays, with broad gabled dormerheads above the first-floor windows. There is also evidence of a former door in the bay to the left of the center.
The east elevation is harled above a lower adjoining house, while the west elevation shows painted rubble above another lower adjoining cottage. The windows feature 8-pane glazing in sash and case style, and there are no skews. Brick stacks are located at the gable heads to the east and west, with a ridge between the second and third bays. The roof is covered with purple slates.
