Description

Dornock Town Farmhouse is a late 18th century building that was remodeled in the mid 19th century and renovated around 1970. It is a two-storey farmhouse located at the west end of a long range of farm buildings, with Dornock House listed separately. The exterior is pebble-dashed with rendered margins and features a cill band at the first floor.

The south elevation has six irregular bays, with a door positioned to the left of center and a bipartite window alongside it. The remaining windows are single sashes, all featuring a 12-pane glazing pattern. There is an 18th century moulded eaves cornice on both the north and south sides, straight skews, and 19th century end and axial stacks. At the rear, there is a gabled long low parallel wing, with a north lean-to in the re-entrant angle. All roofs are covered with graded slates, and there are ashlar-coped low garden walls to the north and south.
