Description

31 South Clerk Street is a four-storey tenement block built around 1850. This late classical building is constructed of ashlar stone and has an astylar design. It features a continuous design with a two-window quadrant facing Bernard Terrace, as well as a pair of five-window fronts. While the detailing on the upper floors is mostly intact, the ground floor has been altered. The building is topped with a slated roof.
