Description
15 Arboretum Road in Edinburgh is a large and finely detailed two-storey villa designed by John Kinross in 1902, showcasing a Scots late 17th century style. The exterior features small rubble with raked joints, moulded openings, and ashlar dressings, topped by a slated piended roof. The asymmetrical south front includes a crow-stepped gable and a well-crafted moulded doorpiece, which is adorned with a sculpture of a ship's prow above it. At the northwest, there is a back wing. Inside, the villa contains notable wood and plasterwork.
