Description

Circa 1790. 3-storey attic and basement, 7-bay classical tenement. Droved cream sandstone ashlar with polished dressings. V-jointed rustication at ground; eaves cornice. Central common stair bay slightly recessed; flanked by main door flats with round-headed doorpieces with radiating timber fanlights to inner bays. Windows at ground to right (No 16) arched. Piend-roofed dormers - bipartite to left, canted pair to right.

12-pane timber sash and case windows (multi-pane at ground to right). Ashlar coped skews; grey slates; rendered stack to S, ashlar to N.

INTERIOR: all one office; archway from hall to reception at No 16, with glazed screen to stair.

RAILINGS: spearhead cast-iron railings.
