Description
The Smiddy and SSEB Substation is an early to mid 19th century row of three cottages that are raised above the roadway. These single-storey cottages are built from random squared rubble with stugged dressings and droved raised margins. They feature skew-gabled roofs that are slated and have brick chimneys. The windows are 2-pane sashes, and there is a timber porch at number 202.
