Description

William Chambers, 1770-2; refronted by Dick, Peddie & McKay, with modern office behind, 1970. 3-storey basement and attic, 5-bay classical office facade. Cream sandstone ashlar front. Moulded architraves; flanked by channelled pilaster strips. Roman Doric porch to inner right bay. Pair of canted timber flat-roofed dormers.

Timber sash and case multi-pane windows. Lead coped mutual skews; mutual stacks, dressed stone to E, rendered to W; grey slates.

Microtiled stepped 6-storey rear elevation.

INTERIOR: modern office.

RAILINGS: plain modern iron railings.
