Description

Circa 1775; restored by Robert Hurd and Partners, 1980s. 3-storey basement and attic former tenement on corner site. Droved cream sandstone ashlar with polished dressings. Channelled quoin strips.

ST DAVID STREET ELEVATION: 6-bay. 2-bay wallhead gable, with pair of architraved and corniced doorpieces to centre bays.

QUEEN STREET ELEVATION: 4-bay gable. Projecting 19th century shopfront removed at ground.

INTERIOR: now single office. Former flats with fanlit hallway; N rooms to each flat (with view to Leith) with fine carved and gesso timber chimneypieces; cornices survive throughout.
