2 East Broughton Place, Edinburgh

2 East Broughton Place in Edinburgh is a classical tenement building dating from 1808. It is three storeys high with an attic and features five bays, constructed from sandstone ashlar. The exterior includes projecting cills, a mutuled cornice, and a blocking course.

The principal elevation showcases a timber panelled door with a fanlight at the center, with a blocked opening above it. There are windows in the flanking bays and stone-mullioned tripartite windows in the outer bays. The upper section has regular fenestration with four box dormers.

The building has timber sash and case windows with 12-pane glazing, a roof covered in grey slates, and ridge stacks topped with terracotta cans.

The interior was not seen in 1998. The property is enclosed by a low boundary wall that has a ridged ashlar coping and is complemented by cast-iron railings.
