Description
The building known as the Steading at Ardnave House on Islay dates back to the 18th century and features a Gothick-style sham front. It is constructed from rubble, with some areas harled. The structure has a crenellated design and includes three blind arches with small window openings that serve to screen the steading. The overall layout is in a T-plan, and it has slate roofs, although part of the roof has been replaced with asbestos and corrugated iron.
