Description
The West Tower at Islay House is an 18th-century Gothick folly. It is small and square in shape. The tower features a rubble crenellated parapet and blind pointed arches on two sides, with oculi above them. There is a round-headed doorway on the north side and a built-up slit window on the south side. The floor is grass-grown, and there are traces of an upper floor.
