Description
The Campbell of Inverneil Mausoleum, dated 1802, is a Georgian structure designed in a classical temple style, featuring a blind Gothic arch at each end. It is constructed of coursed rubble and has a gabled slate roof. The building displays moulded eaves, raking courses, and a base-course. The arches are supported on capitals without the use of pillars. On the west end, there is a square-headed door, while the east end features a pointed window adorned with the Inverneil arms, crest, and motto above, along with quatrefoil ornaments. Above the door, there is a carved inscription that reads "Sir James Campbell/1802."
