Cottages, Woodend House, Loch Fad, Bute

Woodend House cottages, built in the earlier 19th century, are a single-storey range in a plain classical style with seven bays and a single-bay lean-to addition on the outer left. The exterior is made of whitewashed sandstone rubble with flush, painted margins.

On the entrance elevation, there is a single doorway offset to the left of center, with single windows in the remaining bays on both sides. The outer right features a 2-pane timber sash and case window, while the penultimate bay on the outer left has a 12-pane timber sash and case window. There is also a diamond-pane casement window offset to the left of center and in the bay to the outer left. The roof is covered with graded grey slate and features raised stone skews, replacement rainwater goods, and coped sandstone ridge and apex stacks.

The interior was not seen in 1996.
