Description
Maam Steading, located on the Inveraray Castle Estate, was built in 1790 by Robert Mylne. This 'Gothick' barn features two high storeys and is harled with a piended roof. On one side, there is a semi-circular bay, while the other side has a gablet and buttresses. The building is adorned with crenellation, string-courses, and pointed arches. It also includes two segmental wings that contain byres, which are two low storeys with gabled roofs. The structure is divided into bays by piers, has a weather-boarded upper storey, and a cobbled ground floor.
