Description
Garron Lodge, located at Garron Bridge on the Inveraray Castle Estate, was built between 1775 and 1776 by architect Robert Mylne. This Georgian building is two storeys high and features two windows across its front. The exterior is harled, topped with a slate roof that has a gabled front. It includes three oculi and external shutters, with a semi-circular shape at the rear. There are also two one-storey gabled wings that have blind segmental arches. The gate-piers are rectangular and made of ashlar, topped with ball-finials, and are accompanied by cast-iron gates.
